Yaron Levi is an exceptional artist with hard to match hard surface modelling skill. We’ve featured his work before for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 weapons, not only that he also work for many cool blockbuster games, such as Crysis 3, Alien Colonial Marines, Hawken and many more.
Crysis 3 is a very beautiful first person shooter, and as usual the real star of an FPS is the weapons. Same goes with Crysis 3, this game featured some of the best weapon ever seen in this genre. The person responsible to most of these weapons is Gregor Kopka, the principal 3D artist for Crytek Frankfurt. Gregor start working for Crytek since 2004, working on the first Crysis. Initially he was working on weapons, aliens and also props, then he turn to fully working on weapon art starting from Crysis 2.
Gregor Kopka started as 2D artist at the beginning of his venture, and with time he make his step to 3D art, design and animation. Attention to detail and kick ass hard surface modelling, plus the ability to do concept really make Gregor Kopka one of the complete set of an artist, able to create an asset from the beginning till the very final finished product.

Timur Mutsaev currently a senior concept artist at Crytek Frankfurt, have been working with Crytek for 8 years and contribute to many cool titles of the company. Some of the game he have been working on are all the Crysis series and some older game such as Duke Nukem: Endangered Species, Desert Law, Evil Islands, Homeplanet, Derelict, Gorky 17 among others.
Before Crytek he’s been working with Action Forms and 1C Company as concept artist for those German company. Timur latest contribution are the concept art for Crysis 3 characters, weapons and props. He define the looks of Psycho, Rasch and many other, he also design the alien weapons used in the game.
Crysis 3 the latest installment of the series made by Crytek has just been released and the reception so far has been very positive. Crysis series very well known for their cutting edge graphics with awesome characters, weapon, vehicles and environment, all well executed by the artists at Crytek.
One of the most important aspect of the game is the character, these cg human and alien are created by some of the most talented artist in the world. Manuel Virks is one of the artist responsible for the myriads of characters in Crysis 3, he’s responsible for Prophet, Psycho and Rash, all kick ass and well executed. Manuel has been working for Crytek since 2009 as a Senior Environment Artist, and become Senior Character Artist at 2011. He have worked on many Crytek titles such as Crysis 2, Ryse (not released yet) and the latest Crysis 3.
Before at Crytek Manuel Virks been working at Splash Damage as environment artist for Brink, also 2D/3D Artist at Cranberry Production working on Black Mirror 2 and Mata Hari.
Pavel Petrenko currently a freelance artist specializing at hard surface assets and props, such as weapon, vehicle and sci fi stuff. Before going freelance Pavel worked at Crytek Kiev, Ukraine working on the free to play first person shooter Warface, which utilize Cry Engine 3. Pavel created many weapons on this game and all looks amazing with consistent quality of model detail and texture on every weapon. Warface currently being planned to be published by Trion World for western market, and Nexon is the publisher for South Korea and Taiwan.
Pavel Petrenko also worked for Liquid Development for few years as a freelancer. With Liquid Pavel worked on few titles like Borderlands, Borderlands 2), Dragon Age 2, FireFall, Brothers in Arms: Furious 4.
