Brandt Andrist is a concept artist working in the video game industry and specialize in character design. Brandt attended Digipen and received BFA for production animation from there. He was employed at Gas Powered Game working on the free to play title Age of Empires Online, where he designed some of the characters and props for the game. Mike Kime is a senior character artist working for Epic Games in Cary, North Carolina. Mike have been working with Epic for more than 8 years and contributed to many of it’s games such as Gears of War series, Infinity Blade and Fortnite.
Paragon is the latest game from Epic, it’s a MOBA with a third person action point of view, featuring many different heroes with special skills.
Wonjae Kim is a senior 3D artist working at Respawn Entertainment in Los Angeles, USA. Respawn Entertainment just launched their latest game title Titanfall 2 in October 28th 2016, a sequel to Titanfall, adding single player mode and even more Titan to play as.
The game features giant robot as it’s unique feature to differentiate with many other shooters launched in the crowded 2016 holiday season. These giant robots are called titan, each of them have different weapons and skills.
Florent Renard is a character artist based in Paris, France working in Gameloft. Recently Florent has been working on Gods of Rome, one of the mobile games developed at Gameloft, it features array of awesome gods characters and stunning next gen mobile graphic.

Taehoon Oh, whose work we’ve featured in previous GameArtHub post, was a was a weapon and vehicle artist at Infinity Ward (one of the studio responsible for mega franchise Call Of Duty). Taehoon last work for the studio is the 2013 Call of Duty Ghosts, which was co developed with Raven Software. Ghosts continue the tradition of previous Call of Duty success and the next installment (COD Advanced Warfare) also seems going to follow the path, the game looks really brilliant!
Currently Taehoon Oh is the COO and co founder of Reload Studios, an independent game development studio, creating content for Virtual Reality and existing platform.
John Gotch currently work at Kojima LA, part of Konami development studio, working on the next chapter on Metal Gear saga. Before Kojima LA, John work for Molten Games as senior character artist.
Molten Games which now shuttered was working on a games known as Project Blunderbuss, the game (looks like going to be MOBA genre) which featured stylized art direction also canceled. The studio, Molten Games, based on San Diego was formed by veteran of Blizzard, Relic Entertainment and Sony Online Entertainment, it was also backed by NCSoft on it’s financial side. With the reception of the demo mainly positive it is quite unexpected for this studio to be collapsed, but nothing is really secure in the video game industry these days.
We have featured the work of Sam Yang on our previous entry, this young man was employed at Riot Games and Blizzard working on hugely popular game, League of Legend and Starcraft 2. Sam currently running his own studio, Sammu Studios, developing their first game “Colossal Defenders”, the studio also provide outsourcing service for digital sculpting, 3D modelling and texture painting.

Jean-Brice Dugait is a concept artist working for Ubisoft based in Montpellier, France. He have contributed his art work for Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends. The video game feature the protagonist Rayman and 3 other character on a coop adventure, and released on multiple platform, from PS4 to PS Vita.
Comicon Challenge is an annual video game art challenge event held by GameArtisans.org. It focuses on character art, where participant needs to re imagined their comic character of choice and build a game model or concept art of it. On our previous post we have featured few characters from the single player part of Arkham Origins, by one of WB Montreal character artist, Jocelyn Zeller. But the 2013 Arkham game also have multiplayer component which developed by Splash Damage, a game studio based on London, UK that developed Brink and Enemy Territory:Quake War before.
Ben Davis is the lead character artist for Splash Damage and he brings some of the awesome characters for the Arkham Origins multiplayer to life. Ben have contribute to few awesome titles such Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Brink and the upcoming first person shooter Extraction.
